We take refuge in the practice of mindful meditation: sitting, movement, drinking tea, Dharma study and Dharma discussion. With loving speech and deep listening we explore how our practice manifests through our everyday actions of body, speech and mind.

RETREATS
Saskatoon Community of Mindful Living is offering a Fall residential retreat "Peace Must Live in Our Hearts", Oct 9-12 2026. The retreat will be led by Dharma teacher Michael Ciborski.

Wild Rose Sangha, Calgary
November 27–29 : Together We Are One, a non-residential retreat rooted in the teachings of the Plum Village Tradition. Held at the FCJ Centre in Calgary, the retreat will offer an opportunity to come together in mindfulness, community, and practice. The weekend will also include a transmission ceremony of the Five Mindfulness Trainings. The Dharma teacher for the retreat is Tracey Pickup.

Waves and Water Jan 7 2024
Dear friends –
We will gather this evening – January 7, 2024 – to welcome the New Year with segments from the Plum Village New Year Ceremony. This will include the large drum invitation to the New Year, sitting and movement meditation, and a guided meditation from the Ceremony to honour BEGINNING ANEW together. There will be an opportunity for sharing and wonderful practice of the song “Little Star” by the Plum Village Band.
NEXT WEEK we will recite together the Fourteen Mindfulness Trainings and begin a study and practice of the first three Trainings: Openness; Non Attachment to Views; and Freedom of Thought.
