Walk With Me – film screening, community walking meditation and panel discussion

“Walk With Me” is finally coming to Vancouver! This special documentary film looks into the lives of the monastic community practicing the teachings of Thich Nhat Hanh. Some of it may have even been filmed in Vancouver during the 2011 retreat!

We are happy to share that Vancity Theater will be screening this film on April 15 & 16. We hope you will join us to enjoy the film together on April 15, with a sangha walking meditation before the 4:45pm screening, and a panel discussion afterwards. We will be meeting on April 15 at 4:00pm, at Emery Barnes Park, western corner (corner of Davie Street and Seymour Street) for the walking meditation, then proceed to the theater. (Backup plan in case of rain is to meet inside the Vancity Theater atrium). The panel discussion with local sangha members will be in the theater, immediately following the film screening. All are welcome to join the walking meditation, free of charge. The film screening and panel discussion requires ticket purchase and you must be 19+ to attend. See below for tickets and showtime.
